thanks for the fast and comprehensive reply on this subject.
Sufficient to me, that you know what's going on at Worden and that
you'll take care. I'll wait for the new plugin because I want to
check TC2005 first for any bugs. After all, it's still a pre-release.
Speed TC2000 vs. TC2005 :
I noticed a slightly higher speed for whole updating process - in
particlar for re-calculation of PCFs. But nothing spectacular though.
I own a very fast PC and TC2000 is running fast on this machine as
well.I have all data on the harddrive - no CD access necessary.
So the differences in speed between the two versions are not really
that important to me.
I think worden's move to TC2005 is necessary for cost saving reasons
( no quarterly CD's ) and faster implementation of updates / new
features.
Fine with me - as long as my other applications, such as Amibroker
can still use the data directly.
