I submitted this as a feature request some time ago and TJ came
back with a reason why periodicity couldn't be set via AFL. If memory
serves me correctly this is one setting that needs to be known before
AFL begins its run.
But you do have the loadsettings method of the backtest object option,
so that's one good method to achieve the same result.
