How can I ensure that if a trade (x) , due to volume restrictions or
otherwise, is less than an amount (Y) it is not to be traded.

example - A short term system trades but due to commissions I do not
want to place a trade less than say $1000.00 as the avergae gain is
likely to be less than commission cost. NOW due to position sizing or
volume restrictions or any other position size restriction I do not
want a trade of less than $1000. I note that AB can restrict a MINIMUm
QTY shares purchased but I dont see how I can control the trade as a
function of the total trade cost.

Can anyone give a hint ?
regards
maurice
