Hello,
Since WINROS.EXE (eSignal Data manager) is
eSignal program, your best bet is to
send this question to eSignal support.
Personally I don't have problems with the data
manager.

Winros.exe problem
Tomasz,
OK,
but why would winros.exe still be running and using resources ==AFTER==
I close my AmiBroker AND my Data Manager?
Why
do i have to close it seperately after I close AB and eS, only when i close
winros.exe using the task manager does my computer function
normally. I have no other programs running. Not only that, the markets are
closed so i have no data coming in...
thanks for any suggestions,
herman
best
regards,
herman.
Hello,
WINROS.EXE is simply eSignal DATA MANAGER, it
is required not only for DDE but also for any other program that uses
eSignal feed.

Winros.exe problem
All I know
for sure is WINROS is an eSignal program used for DDE into Excel. I don’t
know if it’s needed or not for normal eSignal operation. It is used in
Excel as follows:
=WINROS|Last!'INTC'
This gets the current
price of INTC -- Terry

Winros.exe problem
Today my computer crawls... my Windows task
manager tells me that the only program running is winros.exe and that it
is using 97% of my resources. i closed it down and my computer functions
normally. Winros.exe appears to be used by eSignal... does
anybody have an idea what is happening
here? thanks, herman
