Check the Data. Must have been a lot of change since what you say indicates that the scaling has gone hairy.

 

For example a Index having values of around 2000, if you import data for the same and the data gives the value as 20 or 200, the  scaling gets disturbed resulting in such a chart.

 

You can view, Edit and modify quotes from Symbols -> Quote Editor

A strange thing happen when I did an EOD update on a particular
index. The chart just went flat as a panncake, while other charts
are "normal" - The update must have changed some parameter in the
settings, anyone know how/where to fix or adjust this ?

Funny, I had candle setting, and they look like flat dots in this
chart.
