I'm a new user and have problem understanding the concept behind
"File - Save Database" (CTRL+S) command.
It seems that you have to hit Ctrl+S every time after:
- importing a new symbol data from ASCii file
- adjusting a chart after the stock split
- editing company name
- entering new symbols into a Watch List
- etc.
If you exit AB (or switch to another database) without "saving" the
current database all the changes mentioned above will disappear.
In any other charting software I have (MetaStock, AIQ, SierraChart)
once you click OK on some setting or download the data to the hard
drive you don't have to worry about it any more. With AB there is
the extra step of "Ctrl+S".
Is there any "preferences" setting that I missed?
