Have him check out "www.eoddata.com". They offer a free 30 day trial.
I use their MSOdata and it works fine.
I am very familar with Pariteck but they are MetaStock oriented and
have no datbase activities in the US. MetaStock uses Reuters, they
are expensive.

database maintenance (e.g. deleting defunct stocks, adding new ones,
fixing splits and consolidations, fixing name changes, etc). I use
Paritech here in Australia for this.

intra-day feeds, just simple end-of-day, preferably about 30 minutes
