RE: [amibroker] One step backwards (Indicator Builder vs. FormulaEditor)

That seems to be a good thing.  Some traders prefer adding the same indicator, but with different periods.  Before, I was not able to do that using the Indicator builder. I had to create a separate indicator just for that second instance (there may have been another way to do it, but that’s how I did it).

What I see with the new interface is this....if you keep clicking on the same indicator, it keeps opening up a new window....the old IB did not do this....if the indicator was already opened, it did not open a new window....

You have all your formulas at your fingertips now.
Even more - you can organize them into FOLDERS that YOU can create and name freely.
MUCH MORE CONVENIENT.

And new formula Editor does allow EVERYTHING that Indicator Builder allowed.

Click on "INSERT INDICATOR" button (THE LAST ONE IN THE TOOLBAR)
and your formula is charted.
Make a change, click "SAVE" button and it is updated.

It is that easy. WAY EASIER than before.
