>Do you mean traded volumes versus shares on issue?
I dont want to speak for Dimension. If you look at some hot stocks
like TASR, AIRT, TZOO, ect.
Look to their breakouts and you will see when their trading volume per
day or per 10 days >= 50% of its float = Rocket!! When >= 90%
Awesome Rocket!! ***Buyer Beware These Are Very Active DAY TRADER Stocks!
If you have the stomach to trade these and can watch the screen during
the day- you can be very successful. IMHO. But I would only trade
these kinds of stocks if you check the fundamentals also.
Having a way to extract out data from Yahoo's web site like "Float" (I
would also add to that list some fundamental data) is very useful in
todays' trading.
But some of these "Hot" Stocks also include IPO's are not in the US
Stock database. This creates a problem if you are trading "Only" with
Amibroker. IMHO. I have heard that Tomasz was going to work on
updating the database (I anxiously awaiting that!!).
