I have a list of things that were difficult (impossible ) to do in
metastock . I am doing my conversions and trying some stuff in the
hard basket . I need some help .
The program will -
- ask for period to examine - [easy to do tick ]
- datetask = ask for a date to perform task - [easy to do tick ]
- calculate the distance between todays close and each previous close.
eg. lets say period = 5 . The program will calculate till the date
above and average.
1daymove - average distance between close and close -1
2daymove - average distance between close and close -2
3daymove - average distance between close and close -3
4daymove - average distance between close and close -4
5daymove - average distance between close and close -5 days ago
program then plots
1day ahead of datetask C@xxxxxxxx +/- 1daymove
2day ahead of datetask C@xxxxxxxx +/- 2daymove
3day ahead of datetask C@xxxxxxxx +/- 3daymove
4day ahead of datetask C@xxxxxxxx +/- 4daymove
5day ahead of datetask C@xxxxxxxx +/- 5daymove
What you should see is a shape centred around C@ datetask . This
then tells us on average what we can expect the close to be over the
next 5 days or whatever days get selected .
