Hi all. I am a newbie & would much appreciate some help please. I
have read all documentation, & had a bit of a play, but do not want
to mess things up, so am seeking advice. What I would like to is:
On AB startup, automatically open a database containing only & all
the the stocks of DJI, nasdaq100, & SP500, (& other indexes but not
their stocks, ie Hang Seng, etc), & all those stocks groups & sector
& category info. I have downloaded the complete US stocks file
from AB website, so I do have those files to work with. I know how
to create a new database (File, new database) but don't which files
(tls, or ?) to put in it, or how to put the files I want, into it.
Do I copy the files over in windows explorer, or directly in
Amibroker? When I click on "database settings" for the currently
open database, the "Load on startup" option is not visible. It only
shows when creating a new database, so how do I change this so other
databases do not load on startup, only the one I choose? Can someone
more experienced than myself please give me a reasonably detailed
desription of what I need to do? Thanks in advance. Confused
