Filter= Date() == Now(1);
This returns no results.
I think this is because this is weekend and the Now() returns today's date(Sunday).
I will test this to see if it works tomorrow, however.
This can be done in AA by going to range: from / to and setting the dates to eg 29Oct04.
However I want to set this up in all my Explorations in code so I have less clicking to do.
I am beginning to think I will need to reference the barindex/lastvalue/functions.
Or perhaps use the last date traded of the Baseindex via the Foreign function.
Bit bleary eyed right now: will look at this again tomorrow.
Any other ideas of how I can go about this?
Regards

I think you just need to do:
Date() == Now(1);
Which is the date without the time.

Returns current date / time in numerous of formats
format = 0 "returns string...current date/time"
Format = 1 "returns string...current dat only"
Both Date() and Now() returns strings, but you should test the format of
each since you're equating them.

Subject: [amibroker] filter for: lastbardate == today's date: Help [All]
Hi all;
I cannot figure out how to use Date(), or DateNum() functions to help me
here.
I want Explorations to only look at End of Day stocks which are currently
trading;
I need something like:
filter = blah blah
AND yeah yeah
AND date of last bar is equal todays date;
I have tried
Date() == now; // does not work.
I have tried
Datenum() ==1041029;
whilst this does work it means I have to change the date number for each
exploration.
What is the clever way around this?
Regards to all.
