I would like to invite you to participate in the Live Trading phase of the Beta Test Program for Interactive Brokers' new, alternative trading platform: IB Web Trader (SM). IB Web Trader (SM) uses the latest in web browser technology to allow you to access IB, even from your office. This application is specifically designed to provide access to those of you who have had problems accessing IB from behind fire walls.
IB Web Trader (SM) provides access to the following services and features.
Market Data
Order Entry and Management (for basic order types)
Execution Reports and Summary
On Line Account Statement
News
Charts
Starting today, your regular IB account can be accessed by the IB Web Trader (SM) as well as by Trader Workstation. (Note that you can only be logged in with one application at a time.)
You can access IB Web Trader at https://wt1.interactivebrokers.com/webtrader/servlet/login.
Once you have logged in you will be on the New Order page of the Orderstab. You can place an order from there or you may want to click on the Market View tab to create a market data watch list. Once you have added the desired ticker symbols click the Market View link to display the market data. I hope you will find the new user interface easy to understand and operate.
