right; you can use Notepad, put one symbol per line, like this:

QQQ
BRCM
MSFT

and save with a TLS extension like this:

    brcm_msft_qqq.tls

and put that file in your Amibroker\Amiquote folder.

Then use 'Symbol | Watch list | Import', select a Watchlist (which you can
rename later), browse to the file, and the tickers should show up in that
list.

Hi John,
The only symbols I have are what I loaded with AB using the symbols
that can be copied from the Homepage. On this group in the files
section is a list of Canadian symbols that I would like to download.
Just not sure how to go about it. After I do it once, then I will be
fine. Could I load the file into notepad and then into the database
for AB? Not quite sure of the workflow I guess. Thank you for your
help.

Kindest regards,

Tim
