hi,
A bit of a complicated introduction: I had problems with one computer and I reinstalled QP2 using a new data disk on one computer (a fresh reinstall, no old data base). On the other computer (due to the fact I had been messing around) I also removed the "Quotes Plus Data" directory and on this one I had earlier installed the old data disk and downloaded about a years data. Now that I received the new data disk I reinstalled QP2 on top of the old data.
On both computers I pushed the retrieve button.
Both computers run the same settings (I imported ABS files from 1 computer to the other).
Both computers run the same program.
But I get minor differences in the backtest.
Then what I did was copy the whole Quotes Plus Data directory from one computer to the other (overwriting the existing directory) and still I get minor differences ..... when I backtest more 4 years .... 2 years gives me the same result.
Isn't that strange if one does a reinstall and even overwrites the QP data directory?
