[amibroker] Re: How to limit number of trades?

Ara,

Thanks for your response, it just works differently than expected. I did
not want the timeframes
to line up on the x-axis; so I purposefully did not choose to use the
timeframeexpand function.
I was wanting the bars on each of the timeframes to plot on their own time
scale independent of each other.
Each timeframe does have the facility to show dates so I was hoping to see
different time scales.
Of course, this means you have to visually distinguish the timeframes
independent of the x-axis location.
This is why I was wanting to know if the timeframe toolbar could be disabled
as the toolbar function
implies the dates on the multiple timeframes are aligned. I did try the
timeframeexpand function on
1 minute bars but the result is not what I wanted to see. Apparently this
functionality of independent
time scales is not currently available so the current design approach I was
using is not feasible.

Thanks,

Ron

Multiple Time Frame display works OK for me.

Make sure you plot with the expand function

Also make sure that the time frame multiple as indeed multiples.

or from 10 min to 60 min.

Getting a very large multiple, such as 10 min to daily, would not be
usefulsince you would not be able to see the 10 min chart is you compressed
the chart enough to see the daily

You need to pick your application carefully ... but the system works OK
