Here is another tip with Excel and grabbing data from the internet.
In excel there is facility to read internet based data Data-Import External
Data This will hyperlink that data straight into excel. There is a toolbar
"External Data" to help with refreshing etc.
When you bring it up it has location to type in URL and then you select a
table, eg course of sales table. The data is then placed in the spreadsheet
where you want it. It can then be refreshed, or if you need more then
copy/paste to elsewhere and change the URL eg ticker name.

Just a heads-up: In Excel, Ctrl-semicolon types the current date. I don't
know of a way to type it including the current time, if you need that too,
but it could definitely be programmed as a macro and given a shortcut.
