Well, I probably don't need it, Tomasz, but you know how habits are:
persistent. I also have a small database of about 30 things that I
update manually intraday, and another (sub indices) that I update
manually EOD. With the DL and something called Automate, I can have
the computer put in the new dates each day for each database, one of
the more tedious tasks of any manual update. So I've long had
everything setup this way, and changes don't feel quite as
comfortable, at least at first.

Stefan brings up an interesting idea. If I can access Japanese
stocks via MSN Money, and download via Amiquote, that would be
perhaps a good solution for me.

In the end, what I want is a combination of automatic, but with
manual input ability. While I collect advice about this, I have
rolled back to the partition image I made about 5 minutes before
applying SP-2. I won't go back to SP-2 until I've decided how to
handle this and I'm comfortable with it. Please advise what you
think my best options are.

Yuki
