Q1. My alertifs are triggered for previous days' candles, even when I
run it for today. How do I stop this?
E.g. during the trading day 5 August, if I run a scan or exploration
for today (whether I select n last quotations, n last days, or from 05
Aug 04 to 05 Aug 04), the Automatic Analysis dialog box gives only
results for 05 Aug 04.
However, in the alert output window, I see results from 05 Aug, 04
Aug, and even 03 Aug. These stocks do not appear in the dialog box,
unless there was another hit for today's candle.
Even when auto-scan runs, which should only give new results, I still
get results coming up for previous days.
Is there any way I can make the alertifs apply trigger for the
period/range selected?
Q2. If one alertif has triggered on a stock, is just that alertif
rendered inactive, or are all alertifs inactive on that stock?
I use the auto-scan feature to monitor stocks during the day.
Sometimes I get an alert (say a Bollinger band signal) but I would
prefer to wait for another alert (say, a break of high). But sometimes
I have noticed the other alert doesn't go off, even if the condition
is met.
Any answers or tips appreciated.
