I'm new to Amibroker so I don't know much about it yet.
I have Amibroker 4.50.12 Professional Edition and I have ChartNet as
a provider of market data. Therefor I have downloaded the DDE RT
data plugin for a connection to Excel.
Well, I have installed the plugin and have chosen it in the Database
settings. I also configured it in Database settings by filling in
the DDE server (excel.exe), field and ticker with for example EURUSD!
Last. I also used {ticker}!{field}.
But when I chose RT Qoute under View Amibroker does not want to
connect. I only see the yellow box with Wait in it and nothing much
happens after that. The plugin status says waiting for connection.
Whatever I do, there is nothing changing the status to OK.
Does anyone know what is going on and can help me with this problem??
