hi,
I don't know what the code does in this example but
what I do know is that you have to be very careful when using ApplyStop. Because
nobody (except the writer) really knows what the code does behind the scenes it
can seem to work nicely but when you investigate trade by trade it does not
exactly do what you want. Especially when using different ApplyStops next to
eachother unexpected things can happen and may give you a false result of the
backtest. I showed an example a few Emails back but didn't get a reply

Subject: [amibroker] ApplyStop
Query
In a system I applied following
stop:ApplyStop(stopTypeTrailing,stopModePercent,1,3.5,1);Only
later I discovered the obvious mistake by a typo to include "3.5". The
only options are 0, 1, 2.Still the stop worked, actually worked quite
well. Can someone explain how AB deals with this error? Does it assume
a 0 with this mistake?Willem
