Well, Chalk up Australia as one that has not kept pace.
ADSL is realy crappy compared to other countries I hear from. (Slow &
Unreliable)
CABLE is capped (For ALL vendors) and for the most part outragously priced.
Shit, I live in Sydney (10min from Manly Beach) - And I can't even get ADSL
- The
service is not "Available" in my area...............This is 2004??????? Go
Figure.
So yeah, Im Stuck on 56k (Atleast it's priced ok @ $18/month unlimmited).
Oh yeah - I get all mailing list posts sent via single email - And never
considered the
volume of posts/attachments any sort of problem. (On 56k that is!)
