I have been following thread as I download
from Yahoo EOD data for Gold/Silver/Palladium (more for fundamental research
rather than trading). I note that using XAG=X (Silver) will pick up historical
data but then for daily updates it inverts the values (1/x) and so I rename
XAG=X after history download to XAGUSD=X and then Yahoo will update on a daily
basis! This seems to work with all three of these metals. I note also your
point about Plotting, for some reason the historical data has the Open at the
same value as the Close of the same day and hence AB cannot create a body in
the Candle only H/L/C.
Does anybody know if one can get
Treasuries data from MSN or Yahoo from their free servers for other than USA
Bonds – I am after say Austalian/UK/NZ 90 day and say 10 year Bonds etc data.
