color=#0000ff size=2>grab the pane by the colored title bar and drag it away 
from AB.  Now it will be out on your desktop somewhere. You can now resize 
it to whatever size you like.

color=#0000ff size=2>Here's the neat part - double click the title bar of the 
notepad window and it will re-dock with AB. Double click the docked notepad on 
its title bar and it will re-appear in the location and size it was 
previously.

color=#0000ff size=2>The location/size of the un-docked notepad will survive 
exiting AB so that when you run it again it you'll be able to double click and 
get your larger notepad.
