The data supplier I use is as per QT's Indices one and only listed ASX
supplier - "Trading Room Australia". Do you have a different source to
this?
Notwithstanding the supplier you or I may use, as you see in my first post,
when I poll QT it gives back the info. The question is, then, why can't I
see this in AB?

I think it all depends on what the data supplier provides.
I just checked it and I get the XAO data ok.

Whilst I have been using QT & AB together for a while now and all stock
symbols update as expected, I cannot get AB to update index (Xxx, etc)
symbols.
QT certainly provides the info and the symbols are identical, eg, AXO for
All Ordinaries in ASX, QT & AB.
