Hi DT,
First, do you look like Brad Pitt as Achilles? ^_-
Yes, 10,500 was easy, and if you blinked you missed it. 10,711
today, closing on the high. My system shut down again after three
short sigs on Monday (two losers, one winner, all small). Not even a
setup today, or tomorrow. Volatility reigns. I think it's going to be
a grueling summer, but maybe a decent one for agile traders. I
cannot see anything strong on the long side until after the Fed on
June 30. And coincidentally, same day, hand over to, well, *someone*
(someone willing to wear a bull's-eye) in Iraq. A rate hike could
clear out the sellers. A car bomb (or worse) could clear out the
buyers.
We had some mild divergences on yesterday's plunge, but nothing I'm
willing to bet the farm on. I'd like to see a bit of a rally (a week
or so), then another sell off, then some nice divergences. At that
point, I'd get long on a rebound.
