After loading Excel, go to Tools/Add-Ins and select Optimizer 1.3. Then,
you should be able to use it.

Thanks again, but after having saved (downloaded)
the file in XLStart and opening Excel I immediately get a wizard saying that
the file is unknown to Excel but if nevertheless I want to open the
file.Opening shows gibberish all over the place. Maybe the file should be
stored in the "Macros" folder?

Thanks, in fact I'm not backtesting, just
wanted to see the way it shows the 3D's. I would have made a primitive
system for optimization. I have the 4.5 version.
