[amibroker] Re: Computation efficiency

ok thanks guys. Guess I was hoping that somehow it
would be possible to have "user definable" plotshapes (and that I had overlooked
it in the manual).

I'll just use shapeDigit1, shapeDigit2 and
shapeDigit3 instead of "B", "O" and "S"

  My
solution will show you in the title bar what status (if any ) that bar holds.
To plot the identification on a bar itself then I think assigning the various
Plotshapes to the conditions is probably the best solution. You could
make a "Key" in title that states 1= "B",2= "O"
  etc...

    Jayson,

    interesting suggestion but

    Title = WriteIf(b_day == 1, "B", "");
only shows a "B" in the upper left corner. Maybe it needs some
    work.

The site below shows in short what I was trying
to do. The reaction trend system defines "B", "O" and "S" days. I wanted to
    add them to the chart.

you make it sound like a rediculous
question. If it is possible to draw digits in a chart why not letters.
If not possible no big deal and I don't expect an answer if it is not
        possible.

I appreciate your effort but clearly this
is not what I was looking for. Further I enjoy the fact you wanting to
show the world what you are able to do with AFL but I don't appreciate
        being rediculed.

But, you asked for a "b", a real "b".My code
gives a "b" but you also want an o and an s...I agree with you,
search for something more "professional".Dimitris Tsokakis---

I am coding the "Reaction Trend Method" from Welles Wilder. This
method first assigns "B", "O" and "S" days (socalled phasing)
before one actually starts to calculate the buy - sell - short and
cover. So I only want to draw the "B", "O" etc to make things look
          real professional :) .... not of real importance,> >
