size=2>Brian,
simply
call vix and spx as foreign. Example:
<FONT face=Arial color=#0000ff
size=2>
<FONT
color=#282828>
x=<FONT face=Arial
size=2>Correlation(Foreign("!VIX","C"),Foreign("!spx","C"),21<FONT
color=#282828>);
y=<FONT
face=Arial><FONT
size=2>Correlation(Foreign("!comp","C"),Foreign("!VXN","C"),21<FONT
color=#282828>);<FONT
color=#0000ff>
Plot<FONT
size=2>(x,"Vix/Spx
correlation",4<FONT
color=#282828>,1<FONT
color=#282828>);
Plot<FONT
size=2>(y,"Compx/VXN
correlation",5<FONT
color=#282828>,1<FONT
color=#282828>);
<FONT face=Arial
color=#0000ff size=2>This allows you to see the 2 correlations regardless of
which ticker you are viewing...

Indicator from 2 symbolsI am about to create an
oscillating indicator that shows some type of correlation between VIX and
SPX, and another indicator that will compare VXN and COMPX. Does
anyone have similar code they could post, or any advice? I would imagine I
need to use something like "SetForeign" twice within the same indicator
AFL, if I want to view the indicator under a third, unrelated, symbol's
chart.Is that
possible?Thanks,BrianSend BUG REPORTS
