Hi Puff
When I do it the way you descirbed,  the
Indicator Builder or AB Auto Analyzer will read .txt and probably other formats,
then when you save from either of these environments it will add the dot AFL
(.afl) extension.  When you go looking for those files make sure to
select in the extension cell, otherwise it will miss all but the .afl files
you have stored in your AB AFL folder.
Of course you can cut and paste but may incur the
wrath of the deadly line wrap or other unseen
punctuation marks from HTML that will give you a
syntax error.  TJ always recommends downloading the file, rather than
cutting and pasting.  I do it either way, but know that there is a hitch
when you copy and paste.
YOU WILL STARE AT THE SCREEN AT CODE YOU ARE
UNFAMILIAR WITH FOR A LONG TIME TRYING TO FIND THAT SYNTAX ERROR.

  Subject: [amibroker] Library
  Downloads
Hi all!I am a new member here and need some help. I
have been trying to download some of the Library analysis codes into the
Indicator Builder of my program. I use Internet Explorer as my
browser. The steps I have taken:Find the code in the
libraryClick on "download code"Under File...click on "save
as"Select FolderClick "Save as"This puts the file in the
folder.BUTWhen I go back to AB and open Indicator
builder/Custom/Load file....I can't find the file in the folder I put it
in.I did note that the original file was stored as a "web page"Does
this cause any problems?I then tried a cut and paste but couldn't transfer
the copy from the Library to the AB application.Any step by step
help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks!!The
