I wrote IQFeed an Email and this is part of their reply:
"We are well underway in development of our next version of IQFeed, which we
anticipate will take care of any problems 3rd party software has in working
with our feed. I don't have a release date yet, but am hoping to have
something for our 3rd party developers to look at within the next 60 days.
We also continue work on changes to our servers which will allow the
transmittal of second resolution. In addition to the server changes, we
must also make changes to our various client software packages, as many will
now work if we begin to send the second resolution. We should be live with
this during the summer"
so that sounds pretty good,
