nForce3 already supports AMD64 and other chipsets from VIA and
ECS .
And I have seen 64 bit machines in the shop round the
corner...
they are just about 50% more expensive than well equiped 32
bit ones.

Relax.
I haven't even seen detailed test results on the chip
yet. Then, what about the supporting chip set? And the mobo?
Could be that the FPU in the 64 is a dog, and that it runs
32b programs even slower than a 2 Gig Celeron, for all I know.
Not buying the box today, but I do buy for the future. Slows
obsolescence that way.
