[amibroker] Re: pls help: using AddToComposite in for-statement

Bob and others,

The simple method I suggested avoids any
possibility of inadvertantly opening an email if you think it is suspicious. (I
suggested highlighting the email above then using shift key highlighting the
email below, and then all three are highlighted with the suspicious one in the
middle, all being highlighted.....then delete all three and retrieve the other
two).

I do not want to the first person to discover that
the mere act of right or left clicking an email explodes into something, and
this simple but clumsy approach means I can sleep.

    Peter's solution worked well.  Rightclicking
first opens it, and the objective was to delete it without opening it.

        Ron,

What I have done is wait until I get the
next email so that the doubtful email has emails either side in time,
(or just re-oder by subject, then highlighted the email above (i.e
opened), then moved the cursor to the email below and then while holding
down the shift key opened the email below.  Now you have three
emails highlighted.  I delete all three and then go to the delete
folder and retrieve the two good ones.

        Clumsy but I understand it.

I just received an obviously fake email entitled
          "Citi e-mail <A
          href="">Verification-mrdavis9@xxxxxxxxxx",
and it does NOT have an attachment.

I want to delete it without it opening it
because of the possibility  that opening it may be the
trigger which causes their scheme to fradulenty use my
          charge card account.

Question#1)>>Is there any way to delete an
email in Outlook Express without it opening first?

          Question#2>>Is it programatically
possible, or impossible, to make the act of OPENING AN
          EMAIL

as a trigger for the next step in an online fraud
