Padhu,
I have found that it depends on the indicators you
have on the chart. For example,using the SAR real-time pins the meter, so
to speak. I think that if an indicator does complex calculations,
then more CPU time is needed. I put in a request to Tomasz to allow the
user to choose whether to update an indicator real-time or wait until the end of
a bar (which is what Tradestation does). I think this would reduce the CPU
time, but Tomasz would be the final judge of that.
In order to reduce the CPU time I only have a
single sheet with indicators on it. The other sheets have a zero line
plotted. Running 6 concurrent windows uses about 33% of a 1Mhz
CPU.

Hello,
Anyone out there using AB with esignal realtime
with 6 or more real time chart windows open?. I have about 10 Forex realtime
charts and I see CPU staying at 100% all the time....With help
from support I made some modifications to the
code also...But still stays very high....If anyone has seen this before
appreciate your comments.
