well probably nothing Graham, but Point & Figure charts are nice, concise,
and pretty easy to read. lots of "clear" signals are indicated--breakouts
over a wide period of time. PFScan also has an Analysis portion where an
"opinion" is given. it's maybe like in AB---i always use Candlestick charts
and never use ohlc, or lines, but i'll bet a lot of folks don't use
candlesticks. it's kind of a personal preference...

I don't use it often, but it's nice to use now and then, so either i
continue to use Easy Stock Dater, or i somehow take the data i already have
and easily convert the stock files to .csv. my preference is the later.

i understand AB can draw P&F, and i have briefly looked at it, but with what
i looked at, it was not to useful, with the chart one style and the
indicators a different line style. i know--i could just go to
stockcharts.com to look at p&f, but i'd rather do it all off line...

have you looked at PFScan?? there is a trial available at www.pfscan.com.

for some reason i can't initially post to the group from my email---i have
to log into the group to do so, hence 2 different "From" names.

Ron
What does PFscan provide that AB cannot?
