color=#0000ff size=2>Why you're at it suggest (once again) to have the window
coordinates and size saved. A lot of us have the monitor real estate
mapped out so certain windows go to certain places and have the same size.
This frustrates me to no end having to reposition and resize the #$%#
windows every single time I run AB.

Re: Layout again - Do they save the time displayed ?
I agree, for some reason I find it more useful when windows
open exactly how they were when closed, why don't you make a suggestion to TJ.
suggest@xxxxxxxxxxxxxThere is always the dilemma that some users find
a feature helpful and others find it a hindrance and the only way to solve it
is to add yet another option. There maybe times that within a single
layout you require one window to open at the exact same position as you left
it with 1 year of daily data visible and a second window to open at the hard
right edge with the default number of quotations visible. It would be nice to
flag a save for individual windows maybe by way of an addition to the windows
right click menu items.Regards,William
Peterswww.amitools.comps. maybe the reason I prefer layout windows
to open with exactly the same number of visual quotation and positioning as it
was when closed is connected to pattern recognition. I'm constantly visually
scanning for patterns and if the number of visual bars in a window
automatically changes the next time its opened then it kind of throws you off.
If you are constantly opening and closing differentlayouts throughout the day
you really want the option to save EVERYTHING, like a
snapshot.-----Original Message-----From: Salil V

The default number of visible quotations can be set from
Tools-->Preferences-->Charting-->Default Number of Quotations in
a Chart. After resetting this value any newly opened layouts will open
with the default number of quotations ignoring the number of quotations
that were visible when the layout was saved.> > As far as I
