Greetings –
In one of my stock databases, the early part comes from
TC2000 and the later part from Yahoo. Yahoo volume is actual volume
– unadjusted. TC2000 volume is actual volume divided by 100. I
would like to adjust earlier volume data so that it is all compatible with the
Yahoo format. I have a watchlist containing all the tickers that need
adjusting, and I know the first date of Yahoo data is 1/15/2004<font
size=2 face=Arial>. I
would like to run a routine that will pass through a filter all those tickers
and dates that need modification, then multiply the volume by 100 and write the
new value back into the database.
I imagine that others AB users have wanted to do this, but I
did not see a solution listed among the messages. What is the best way to
do this? Can it be done directly in afl code? Is there a script
available? Is there a library of scripts somewhere (besides the three
scripts that are installed into the \AmiBroker\Scripts directory)?
Thanks,
Howard
