take a
look at the timeframe functions TJ introduced last year (I think) This will
allow you to define your trend in daily bars. The challenge is to have enough
interday bars to render an trend. This all depends on how long an EOD trend you
code. Example...if your EOD trend indicator requires say, a 50 day MA that is a
whole lot of 60 min bars to be condensed by
timeframe()......

<SPAN
>Jason,  My
question must not have been clear.  I am using an hourly chart for my
intraday trading system, and I need to define the trend in a daily format.
Can you use a daily trend qualifier in an hourly chart.  Right now my daily
system is short, so I only want the hourly system to take the short
trades.
