This is to inform you that a new group has been created to deal exclusively
with Automated Trading for AmiBroker users.
Automated Trading can take on many forms and means different things to
different people. Typical applications would be: automating trade entries on
your InteractiveBrokers TWS to prevent order-entry errors, automatically
generating/placing/executing orders on the basis of your AmiBroker's Trading
System's signals (you must already have a profitable mechanical trading
system), implementing complicated position management schemes, implementing
complex Stop Loss and Profit Target protocols based on real time pricing,
order placement for your portfolio trading systems (all orders/Stops/Targets
will be transmitted automatically), emergency exit procedures, automated
reversal schemes, unattended or partially attended mechanical trading
systems, etc. Applications are only limited by your imagination.
Automated Trading can raise the level of risk in trading significantly, by
subscribing to the AmiBroker-at group you agree to waive all liability
associated with the topics discussed on the AmiBroker-at list and/or with
other information retrieved from the AmiBroker-at site.
Everybody is welcome to join this list, however I ask is that you display
tolerance. AT Is a controversial topic and opinions on it's merits vary
widely, this list was created for people who have already accepted the idea
of trade-automation and are committed to develop actual working code, not
for people who still want to argue about the merits of AT.
