Hi Kevin-
As another reference -
I use sprint pcs with a cell-phone connected to the laptop via a usb cable,
no special equipment. The phone model is a Sanyo model 8100. The
reason I use it is that I live in a motorhome and travel often. Now,
regarding performance, it works really great - sometimes. Apparantly it
works like a regular dial-up only faster but still, the connection seems to go
dormant or close to it and needs to be awakened in order to get decent
speeds. For this reason, it is ok for eod but not satisfactory for
interday. In short, I do not feel that it is a good replacement for a land
line regardless of the advertised speed. Other companies such as at&t
etc may be diffeent.

Wireless
Did you build your machine?
If possible, I'd like to buy a turnkey system?
I'm interested in using it for Intraday trading, which I do now, but not
very gracefully.
I did join the other Yahoo group. Looks interesting.
