You indicated in your post that you *guessed* that I would next be
suggesting that low raw VIX numbers induce Fed policy statement changes.
That was a wrong guess.
Enough bantering.
My observations about low VIX values were not suggestions... they
remain observations. I don't trade based upon VIX values, therefore I
would not suggest that anyone use them exclusively for that purpose.
But that does not mean that VIX values are worthless either.
I simply pointed that a friend of mine shorted the market last
Thursday based upon VIX... and I hope his account is rewarded for his
effort.
