Good question, as I just converted to the
paid version due to the ads that were not being blocked by the adpopup blocker
in the Google toolbar. I am sure that allowing the ads thru is one of the
ways this software vendor can give it out free. The ad blocking comes
with the paid registration.
Seems Mossberg might have mentioned this
as his opinions and recommendations carry a lot of weight and are usually very
reliable.
I have a 30 day period in which I can get
my money back.
So far, the program seems like it has all
the promise I previously mentioned, now with this cloud hanging over it about spyware…

Netcaptor was listed as a spyware because of its
use of Aureate, Web3000 or Flyswat services.
If you want a 'clean' tabbed browser you may try
Mozilla Firebird at http://www.mozilla.org/
or, if you prefer IE engine, Sleipnir at <a
href="">http://www20.pos.to/~sleipnir/. Both
are almost completely customizable.
