Hi Ron
I have been working on some
weekly timeframes and incorporating it into a daily chart and an exploration.
>From what I have found for myself the results will vary depending on how you
bring in the weekly results into the daily figures. What I mean is the <FONT
color=#0000ff>TimeFrameExpand and how you set the
mode. Some add all the results for the previous 5 days, next 5 days or a
single point. This can make a huge difference if you are trying to get single
daily signals.
expandLast - the compressed value is
expanded starting from last bar within given period (so for example weekly
close/high/low is available on Friday's bar)expandFirst - the compressed
value is expanded starting from first bar within given period (so for example
weekly open is available from Monday's bar)expandPoint - the resulting array
gets not empty values only for the last bar within given period (all remaining
bars are Null (empty)).

I am trying to further
my knowledge myself with this timeframe functions as I am wanting to find a
single point (day) signal using the weekly timeframe. An example is I am
finding turning points on the weekly timeframe, then going to daily to find
the bar at which the TP actually occurs. So far I have only been partially
successful as I often get consecutive days shown, one correct one not. A real
bummer trying to remove unwanted signals without also removing the wanted
ones.

So any other thoughts/help
from others would be appreciated by me as well

  TimeFrameSet(inweekly)

  I just now
added  TimeFrameSet(inweekly)  to my SCANS.   Is
this sufficient to make my scans run in the weekly time
mode?    If this is not sufficient  to insure that my
scans are running in a weekly time mode, please let me know what it is that I
have to do in order to know that  my scans are running  in
  weekly time mode.
From what I have observed  by my
numerous observations of my custom indicators, this should have resulted in
all of the buy arrows being correct in predicting that a decent run up will
occurr. However, this is not what happened.  I still have to switch from
the daily to the weekly timeframe in order to tell if the buy signal can be
  trusted.  Ron D<FONT
