Jim,
I've played with both and the QT option works very nicely and withup to 40 tickers. you can also set up a free intraday backfill with Scottstrade. I didn't seem to get any reliability with the unofficial plugin. Again, i'm still experimenting and will go to eSignal as soon as possible.

Hello,
I just upgraded to AB professional in order to get real time data
from IB. I was planning to use the Quotetracker plugin until I saw
your post. How does the unofficial IB plugin work? Have you tested
both? Is there less lag with the plugin than with QT?
Any comments would be appreciated.
