Check out version 8 of IS:

http://www.miclog.com/is/8/features/index.shtml

Support for html email with embedded images, import
from Eudora, and a lot more. It's in beta now, but
apparently updates are available about every 2 weeks.
There are a lot of bugs, but when it becomes stable
this should do the job. From the manual:

HTML e-mail

You can send and receive e-mail messages in HTML
format. Such messages retain text formatting and font
settings (such as font style and color, bullets, CSS
styles), can contain images, tables, etc. Info Select
8 also allows searching and editing HTML messages.
