Scan frequency is still 1Min minimum, although the data can update even at
a tick level and be viewed in whatever time interval.
At a
tick level you are really into the "noise", it's is really processor
and video card intensive and after a while you may take a step
back
(at or
over 1 min) to find profitable signals - 89 and 144 ticks appear differently
than standard min. time frames -

The fundamental difference is that in the AA window, settings you can
change the periodicity to intra-day (e.g. 1 min, 5 tick, x min, x tick) so
that the scans are looking at bars of that specific timeframe. With
standard edition, you are limited to daily, weekly, monthly bars.
