Neither a bug or oversight.
Open indicator builder and take a look just above the Add button. There is a check box which is applicable to each indicator.

When you click ->Insert -> Custom Indicators, the 'More Indicators...
CTRL+I drop Down appears along with items which have been designated
to display in the 'Quick Insert' menu.
Problem: How do you delete from the 'Quick Insert' menu an item or
change its name assignment??
