Nick: Make your PositionScore code so it
is always positive, never negative. Perhaps add 1000 to it.
PositionScore = your code + 1000;
Longs will be purchased, no shorts (no
negative values).

codes , I obtain both long and short trades. The short results have
been lousy, but the long acceptable. Is it possible to code only for long
trades?
