I think this is a good Idea,
Funnily enough - I came across what your speaking of just today.
I was looking at somthing else though..... But It is related!!!

When you run an optimize, Any Charts with the same "Optimize" names will
have their chart values temporarly cycled by the optimize.
I created two windows - With same charts, But different tickers - And
seeing if it still did the same thing for both tickers.........

I was actualy hopeing to find a way to use this quirk in Optimize to make
myself a Cross Chart Global Variable.

Unfortunatly it only does it while optimizing.

Anyway, Back on topic -
An "Independant Chart Clone" or "Child Chart" would be good.
Obviously the code would still have to be stored somewhere - But it needn't be
listed - And the code could be erased when the "Child Chart" is ever removed.
