I know, and it's not like you don't have anything else to do either. Still,
if new users aren't careful, they'll end up with an enormous amount of stuff
in their reports folder (I have over 20 Megs since yesterday afternoon!),
with blank or misleading labels on it, making it hard to make use of. Some
switches, with conservative defaults, might actually make things easier for
people who aren't paying attention.

Actually, I forgot about that, as another request: A third field, besides
the two levels of FormulaName I'm suggesting. Something like Comments or
Notes, that was enterable from the report explorer, *after* the backtest has
run and you've examined the results. You could use it to flag results that
were particularly interesting, to find them again, and to keep track of what
was interesting about them. I do that in Excel, for both optimizations and
backtests, and often filter on non-blank comments once I've flagged the
interesting rows and want to narrow in on only them.

Speaking of Excel, the rlst file looks like tab-delimited text. If we add a
column on the end of it for comments like that, will anything break in AB or
the explorer? Obviously we need to save it as text, not an xls, and not edit
other things, but would that work if we were careful?

Thanks again so much for all this bounty of great stuff, really wonderful
(:-)
